Cooking feast...

As usual... for every beginning of the semester... we would find the free time of everyone... to have the gathering...

Time flied... I still remembered the gathering was done on last year- 2010, on Italianis there... emm.. 14Jan 2010... which was LiWen's birthday... This year.. we planned to have cooking competition among the 10 of us... hahaa... not so called "competition"... emm... I rather to get it a change.. cooking feast...

It was just so glad that this time... 10 of us were here again... as... it was hard sometimes to gather us... as... some were busy for sport... busy for activities or etc etc... anyway... our cooking feast was carrying out de... on 6Jan 2011... ^^

Basically... we had two groups... grpA- JJ,Mhui,SYen, JYew, n Mfai... grpB- LWen, Suyuen, CHong, TXiang n me...

Both the grps will cook for their best... favourite... special... n mouth-watering foodss... all photoss here were from suyuen...

for all my lovely friends here... ya... we really put effort on it... to me, all the foods present were nice n yummy... although some were simple dishes that we always had... anyway... the love n effort put... were worth enough to mask the imperfection of the taste... since we were not professional cooker... >.<...

This was 肉骨茶... by Mfai... Yummy.... ^^ he was a great cook, anyway...

The dish was called 步步高升... although main idea was by me... but without the help from CHong n LWen... it couldnt be done too... the bottom one.. was prepared by me... core dish was the tomato's prawn... my favourite... others were seafoodss... cooked with different taste of sauce n style... in fact... there was a bowl... in btw the 2nd n the bottom layer... with fishy herb's soup inside the bowl...

the second n the top one... prepared by LWen n CHong...they could be combined together... n finally... mixed n become the one as shown by photo below...

Here it was... this was "lao sheng"... hello.... friendss... CNY is coming soon... happy pre-CNY...

This lao sheng was a bit different from the one that we always had during CNY... this one was solely created by my grp... it consisted of mango, carrot, fishes n etc... n the sauce was great too... idea by LWen... she was creative... ^^

those pancakes were prepared by Suyuen... she was delicate n really put a heart on making them... all the round shape pancakes were made one by one... thumbs up for her... it tasted nice... ^^

The pancakes were dipped into the ice-cream then... Woww... supernice... ^^

This 宫宝鸡 was prepared by MHui... I loved it... I was still learning to cook for the best of this dish... now... I had a coach... ^^...

This was cooked by JJ... qiute delicious too... simple yet nutrious... I loved green foodsss... by the way... ^^

Wondering what the sort it was right??? Hahaa... it was the sauce for our green tea's spaggetti..

mainly done by CHong... just realized... he could fry fish in quite a professional way...

well... I loved this dessert too... 雪耳沙梨红枣糖水... cooked by JJ... woww... really nice... n "pure" of its taste... she was not only one of our top student in the class... but she was good in cooking too... ^^... n... pity for her... we all bullied her that day... forcing her to eat the pancake with ice-cream of "specially decorated"... I just forgot... forgot to put the funny photo here.... hahaa...

N... finally... we had vodka...

Happy pre-CNY here... happy semester reopening.... may the semester... be passed with lots of joy n smile... although it would be busy n bombarded with lot of testss soon... All the best... for all of us... ^_~
